The combined resources make SMA one of the largest event timing companies in the US, serving over 150 athletic events each year. With its partners, SMA offers ChampionChip® timing services, live results, email and text messaging, online registration, event management, database administration, high resolution fully automatic timing and custom software solutions. Mike Proctor co-founded SMA in 1989 and rapidly developed it into a leading edge timing company. In 2006 SMA made history at the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon, becoming the first company in the world to successfully provide live split times at each of the 26 mile marks in a marathon Jon Krupa started HSS just four years ago.
